Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. established the Delta Research and Educational Foundation (DREF) as a public charity supporting collegiate achievement, public service programs, and research initiatives focused upon African American women.

In collaboration with DREF, the Rockland County Alumnae Chapter established the “Leave A Legacy Fund" Campaign to raise funds for scholarships for young people pursuing higher education.
