ROCKLAND COUNTY ALUMNAE CHAPTER

DELTA SIGMA THETA SORORITY, INCORPORATED

Sisterhood, Scholarship, Service & Social Action

PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE

Welcome to the website for the Rockland County Alumnae Chapter (RCAC) of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated. We are thrilled to present to you - our devoted family, friends, elected officials, associates and community members - everything we do in the name of service. Since 1985, we have been an active and strong voice within Rockland County, serving our citizens with impactful programs and assisting our youth through programming activities and scholarships.

Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. was established on the campus of Howard University in 1913 by 22 women who wanted to use their collective strength to promote academic excellence and to provide assistance to those in need. Today, more than 300,000 predominantly Black, college-educated women are members. There are 1,000 collegiate and alumnae chapters located in the United States, Canada, Japan (Tokyo and Okinawa), Germany, the Virgin Islands, Bermuda, the Bahamas, Jamaica and the Republic of Korea.

Through this website, you will see how impactful we have been since our inception. You will also find out about our activities and events, all of which are geared towards serving residents of Rockland County. We thank you for supporting us throughout the years and look forward to your continued partnership.
